'Highest package' is not a placement rate
A single exceptional offer says nothing about the median outcome. Ask for the median and for the share of the eligible batch that received an offer, and ask which branch or programme the number covers.
Check the accreditation name against the regulator
Accreditation bodies publish what they have accredited and until when. A name in a brochure is a claim; the regulator's list is evidence.
Fees have more than one line
Tuition, development fee, hostel, mess, examination fee and one-time deposits are usually listed separately, and some escalate annually. Ask for the year-by-year schedule.
What good looks like
An institution that publishes year-wise fees, median outcomes with batch size, and accreditation validity dates is telling you it is confident about its own numbers.
