Eligibility

• Subject requirements apply and are the most common cause of ineligibility.
• Age limits and attempt limits apply to some examinations and not others.

Registration is completed on the conducting body's official portal. Photograph and signature specifications, category certificates and payment methods are listed in the bulletin.

Syllabus

The official syllabus is published by the conducting body and is revised between cycles. We link to the official source rather than reproducing a syllabus that may be out of date.

Preparation

Most candidates need six to twelve months of structured preparation depending on the starting level and the target score. A preparation plan should be built around the current syllabus and the previous two years' papers.

Books

Book lists are widely circulated and often outdated. Follow the current syllabus and use the official sample papers as your reference point.

Previous-year papers

Official previous papers are released by the conducting body on its own portal. We do not redistribute copyrighted papers.

Mock tests

Timed full-length mocks under exam conditions are the highest-value preparation activity once the syllabus is covered.

Admit card

Released on the official portal before the exam. Details on the admit card must match your identity documents exactly.

Result

Published on the official portal. Scorecards are usually available for download for a limited period.

Cut-off

Cut-offs depend on the year, the category and the number of candidates. Historical cut-offs are a reference, not a prediction.

Counselling

Counselling for participating institutions runs through the relevant central or state authority. Registration, choice filling and seat acceptance are time-bound steps.
